Lemon Garlic Parmesan Pasta

This is one of my very favorites !
Prep Time 20 minutes
30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 Pasta of your choice
  • 1 Olive oil
  • 1/2 stick Butter
  • 1 Lemon (for zest)
  • 1/3 cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 bunch Fresh Italian Parsley chopped
  • 6 cloves Garlic diced
  • 1 Parmesan cheese be generous
  • 1 Red pepper take it easy, unless you love heat
  • 1 Peas
  • 5 to 6 packets True lemon
  • 1 Flour for roux
  • 2tbs Butter for roux

Instructions

  • Prepare all ingredients first
    Next cook the pasta, then set aside In a skillet, add in a little olive oil and butter and simmer on a very low heat so not to burn the butter.
    Then add the fresh chopped garlic and saute'
    Pour in the lemon juice and stir add in the lemon zest and
    True Lemon approx. 4 to 6 packets
    Add salt & pepper
    Next add in the red pepper (not too much)
    Pour in a little roux and stir Then pour in two ladles of pasta water and stir well
    Next pour in your pasta and mix well adding in the peas
    Add in the italian parsley – stir
    Lastly add in the parmesan cheese and stir very well Now you are ready to serve
    I suggest sprinkling more parmesan cheese and a little pepper on top of your pasta and ENJOY !
